We pray against the spirit operating against us to overcome it, not for the demise of child of God.
Ephesians 6:12 – For we wrestle NOT against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, rulers of darkness of this world, and against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Isaiah 54:17 – No weapon formed against me shall prosper and every tongue that rises against me in judgement, I condemn.
2 Corinthians 10:4 – For the weapons of my warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.
Ephesians 6:10-18 I put on the full armor of God. The shield of faith the quench every fiery dart of the enemy, I put on the breastplate of righteousness, the belt of truth, my feet are shod with the gospel of peace, I take the shield of faith to quench every fiery dart of the enemy, I am covered with the helmet of salvation and I use the sword off the spirit, which is the word of God against the enemy.
1 John 4:4 – I overcome all, because greater is He that is with me, the he that is in the world.
Luke 10:19 – I tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and NOTHING shall by any means defeat me.
